His practice is divided between family

and tenant, contractual disputes and commercial
matters. He practises on the south coast
in Southampton, Winchester, Bournemouth,
Portsmouth and surrounding areas as well
as regularly appearing in London.
Family
He is experienced in cases involving removal
of children from the jurisdiction and all
related matters. His practice includes private
law matters under the Children Act and Family
Law Act together with child care public
law matters for local authorities, parents
and children's guardians. He also regularly
deals with ancillary relief cases for high
net worth clients and is fully versed in
the latest developments, providing seminars
at Southampton Solent University. See our
seminars page for details of the 2008 programme.

preparation and thorough in his approach
to negotiations and litigation.
Interests
He is often to be found in his favourite
habitat of a muddy field on a winter Saturday
afternoon at the bottom of a ruck or scrum
wondering about the meaning of life at the
bar, and more importantly, where on earth
the ball has gone as he plays rugby while
the body holds out, and is currently skipper
of one of the (more) senior sides at Trojans
Rugby Club in Southampton.
He also plays the slightly more refined
activity of tennis, and is a member of the
Hampshire Tennis and Health club in Southampton.
