Ian is widely experienced in personal injury and clinical negligence. He advises extensively on liability and quantum on matters ranging from very minor to the most serious injuries and Fatal Accident Act claims.
Prior to practising at the Bar, he lectured extensively on personal corporate insolvency, shipping, carriage of goods and related contractual matters on professional courses, particularly in respect of agency law.
He is widely experience in commercial matters of this nature. He regularly deals with commercial disputes as well as consumer actions both involving consumer credit and stand alone matters, and landlord and tenant matters. He has appeared in fast-track trials and complex multi-track matters and in the Court of Appeal.
Ian’s interest away from work are singing and playing guitar as well as playing rugby, and is currently skipper of one of the more senior sides as Trojans Rugby Club in Southampton.
