Ian has an established family practice, divided between ancillary proceedings
and private and public law. His practice includes private law matters under the
Children Act and Family Law Act together with child care public law matters for
local authorities, parents and children’s guardians.
Ian is experienced in cases involving removal of children from the jurisdiction
and all related matters. He also regularly deals with ancillary relief cases for
high net worth clients and is fully versed in the latest developments, providing
seminars at Southampton Solent University as well as seminars run here at
Eighteen Carlton Crescent.
He has a mature common sense approach to family matters. He is meticulous
in his preparation and thorough in his approach to negotiations and litigation.
