Richard Martin is an experienced criminal defence practitioner.
 
He is regularly instructed to defend allegations including rape, child abuse, indecent assault, death by dangerous driving, grievous bodily harm and major public disorder. He is currently being led by Queen’s Counsel in an historic child abuse case.

Richard accepts instructions in the Youth Court, believing that young defendants facing serious charges deserve the same level of experience and seniority as adult defendants appearing in the Crown Court.

Having established a busy practice in Surrey at his previous Chambers, he is still instructed in the South Eastern Circuit.
 
Richard speaks and writes fluent Spanish and has a passion for historic cars.
